To fix this, you need to do a manual transfer. Sometimes when you sub to a mod and start the game up, it will paste the mod into the My Games, or local area for short, but the mod will be incomplete as a number of files in the mod won't be copied in, resulting in a lot of faulty things. Now, here's an issue I want to make noticed: Sometimes the copy-paste thing is dodgy. If you want to put in a mod, that's where you put them in, but if you subbed to a mod on the Workshop, then you don't need to do that unless you want to merge mods together which is a different topic with its own nuances that I won't get into immediately. From there, the game will read the mods and put the into work. Now, this would work fine with other games, but for some reason, the game won't read mods from this location, so the way the game adapts to this fact is to copy-paste the mod from this area into your My Games area, in a folder called "Binding of Isaac Afterbirth + Mods" the next time you open the game. When you sub to the mod, the mod goes to the Steam Workshop area, the path looking like this: Program Files => Steam => steamapps => workshop => content => 250900 The way the Steam Workshop treats subbing to a mod from there is really unorthodox. This is something that I've recently learned that I can tell you.
